Abia Solar Manufacturing: 25MW to 800MW, in disciplined phases
An industrial renewable energy initiative of Onwuka Global Ventures Ltd, established to manufacture solar photovoltaic modules locally for Nigerian and regional demand.
Project overview
Why this project, in this location
Nigeria's installed solar ambition is constrained by an almost entirely imported module supply chain — exposing developers to freight cost, currency volatility and delivery risk. Abia Solar Manufacturing addresses that constraint directly by establishing module assembly capacity within the country.
Abia State offers the combination the project requires: available industrial land, an established artisanal and technical labour base, and access to southern and eastern distribution corridors.
Capacity is added in modular increments so that each expansion is financed against demonstrated demand and operating performance.
